Lockdown (MOC)

Getting pumped for the new Transformers movie! The bounty hunter Lockdown stands 15" inches tall ready to face the Autobots with his powerful minigun stored within his face. Being one of my most movie accurate MOC's, Lockdown's playability and articulation is slightly limited.

While creating this MOC, the most difficult part to create was definitely his transforming head. It was hard to get the head to look realistic while still being able to transform it into a massive gun. When I started the MOC I used a Makuta Icarax torso piece to build around because I knew it was not the most intuitive torso piece and I wanted to challenge myself. I am really happy with the end product of the torso. The forearms and shins I also thought was very difficult to make, because you want to keep the same proportions of the shin/thigh ratio while including the same amount of detail. There is still some work needed to be done such as filling in some empty spaces, adding more support to articulation points, etc. The face-gun is also not really movie accurate, but I am happy with it.
